What a crazy week. With the heat, the 4th of July, vet appointments and lastly me ripping or rupturing my Achilles tendon it has been a BUSY week. Above is Big Sparcone enjoying a toy. He was a pretty decent retriever for a greyhound. Sparcone's name has been evolving, Sparcone = Sparc = Spark = Sparky. He will soon go home to Tripps. One day he may be a really white dog instead of a tea-stained dog. We know for sure he will be cherished and treated like a prince. Hopefully the existing pack will welcome him too. Below is Judy resisting tonsil tasting Ozona. Today Ozona made the trip with Zipper to Billings. Judy delivered Zipper into the waiting arms of her new family. Ozona will wait at Bek's house and go home in just a few days. Scratchy has tentatively been spoken for. The available dog pool is now Timber, Sam, Kelso's Will Tell, Oxygen and Five. There is a bus coming from KS soon. We sure would love to welcome some of those dogs. It is the perfect time to welcome a greyhound into your life. Right now we have no two dogs alike. A little something for everyone.

  1. Oh crippled hound tender,
Yep, maybe we should just visit vets instead of the AMA folk!
I have to stop looking at your site. First of all, your entries are entertaining--fun to read. And secondly, the pictures of your charges are so tempting and I find myself oohing and aahing over wonderful pictues---esp. Oxygen.
Anyway, I wish you a very speedy recovery. Take care of that foot--RICE---rest, ice, compression, elevation. Stay as cool as you can!
