There are a couple of bits of unhappy news to convey.
First - Lance the survivor greyhound boy has been missing since 2-27 in the Chester/Shelby, MT area. Please see http://montana.craigslist.org/pet/591417880.html I know most of us are too far away to help in the search but please send one up for our boy. Today Lance's owners, friends and family will be covering the whole area on ATV, truck and foot searching every nook and cranny on that section of the Montana prairie. I pray they are protected and guided in their search and that Lance will be home soon.
Second - There has been a rash of stolen dogs in Billings, MT and Powell, WY areas. Dogs are being lured out of their yards. Anyone who uses a dog door for your dogs needs to be on alert. Dog owners and lovers alike should form a neighborhood watch and report anything that just doesn't seem right. I have seen some of the pleas for help from the dog's owners...heartbreaking! Don't let it be you or your loved ones.
